How Junk Wagon Got Started
Junk Wagon wasn't created in a corporate boardroom. It started with three family members from Kearney who wanted the opportunity to build something of their own while serving the community they call home.
Like many entrepreneurs, Will, Spencer, and Josh were looking for more than just another job. They wanted the freedom to build a business they believed in, work alongside people they genuinely enjoy, and create a service that local homeowners and businesses could rely on.
Before launching, Josh spent time researching the market throughout Buffalo County and the surrounding area. What he found was simple: people needed a dependable, locally owned junk removal company that showed up on time, communicated clearly, and treated customers fairly.
So they decided to build it.
Since officially opening in 2026, Junk Wagon has been helping homeowners, landlords, property managers, and businesses remove unwanted junk, tackle cleanout projects, and complete demolition jobs throughout Central Nebraska.

Will is a Kearney local and University of Nebraska at Kearney graduate who helps lead the branding, marketing, and visual identity of Junk Wagon.
From designing the company branding to helping build customer relationships, Will brings creativity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to providing a professional customer experience.
SPENCER JORGENSEN
Co-Owner
Spencer is a Kearney local and a student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Industrial Distribution.
His hands-on work ethic, organizational mindset, and commitment to customer service help keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish. Whether it's loading a trailer, assisting customers, or helping coordinate jobs, Spencer is always ready to get to work.
JOSH JORGENSEN
Co-Owner
Josh brings engineering, project management, and business operations experience to Junk Wagon.
As a mechanical engineer and project manager, Josh plays a key role in planning projects, streamlining operations, and ensuring customers receive dependable service. His research and market analysis helped lay the foundation for launching Junk Wagon throughout Buffalo County and the surrounding region.
